Distributed Secondary Control of a Microgrid With A Generalized PI Finite-Time Controller

This paper proposes a novel distributed secondary controller for droop-controlled microgrids to regulate the frequency and voltage, autonomously share power mismatch. The proposed scheme is entitled generalized proportional-intergal finite-time (GPI-FTC). GPI-FTC synthesized based on control Lyapunov function method modifying conventional PI by adding consensus term integrand dynamic. provides plug-n-play capability, scalability, fast convergence of system states. Moreover, reactive sharing (Q-sharing) designed improve pattern under exact voltage regulation. Also, observer developed average Performance validated through numerical simulations detailed model microgrid, including small signal analysis, load change, DG outage, Q-sharing, performance comparison.
